i have recently bought a dell laptop and cannot get it to connect to wireless! ive had a belkin router and have tried 2 different linksys ones to no avail! it already has a wi-fi card fitted. it shows the wireless connection is their and the signal is excellent but cannot connect. i am running windows xp pro.

It is usually because of an encryption key or type mismatch, or mac address filtering (if you have it setup on the router).
what happens when you connect, is the router encrypted?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
