1. Live with it.
2. Sell it.
That's it.5 -

tell us more please.0

Won't it get you to Hollywood? Relax. Keep driving it and you'll probably get used to it but ultimately your only option is to sell it on. Don't rush into selling it until you've tried it for longer.0

My pleasure, but on the information you've given us, I'm really not sure what you're hoping for.FRANKIEBOY_3 said:Thanks for your help
It's merely that you don't like it, rather than there being any problem?
What car, price, supplier?
If it's an approved-used from a main dealer, there may well be a change-it-within-a-month option. Apart from that, there's no legislation covering buyer's remorse.
Next time, have a proper look and test-drive before committing.0 -
What other options are you looking for? I suppose a 3rd option is give it away, but not one you'd favour I think. If you're thinking of some recourse from the seller, you've no hope unless you specifically said something during the purchase about your driving requirements and the seller wasn't truthful, thus causing you the issue you've raised here.FRANKIEBOY_3 said:Thanks for your help
My other half bought an X1 a few years ago and couldn't get on with the manual gear box and its reverse gear. She did test drive it, but never thought about putting it in reverse. Lesson learned next time she buys. She decided to live with it (she'd have lost too much money selling it immediately) and over the years has got used to putting it in reverse.

There's always the worst option, walk followed closing by the bus.
I've been floating about in a horrid Dacia Sandero Stepway since my last car got stolen and a replacement gets built, I did hate it, the ride is shockingly bad, but it's been in the bodyshop for a couple of weeks as a dust cart ripped the side out of it and absence really did make the heart grow fonder.
Two weeks of buses and walking and I was ready to marry it when I got it back!
Though there's a lesson in this, always test drive at least twice with a few days in between.
The first you're usually impressed and only notice the good things, when you come home and think about it you often realise you drove a super smooth route, with no hill starts, no reversing, no obscure junctions etc.
So you go back and make sure you try all the things you didn't.
(and yes, I bought the Dacia blindly over the phone)

You could fit bigger alloys, upgrade the speakers or fit aftermarket HIDs.0

If I were you I would do some ruing. Ruing is an especially useful skill to develop if you have made a poor decision. There are literally millions of things that I can rue about now.FRANKIEBOY_3 said:Three weeks ago I bought a car,it’s not what I expected and I’m finding it hard to get used to it,what options do I have?2 -
