Morning
Lol rubes you will be decorating the whole house at this rate rest up woman
TA there is nothing wrong with a day of self care sounds like just what you needed
News from me is that I am now using a stick instead of crutchesNo cheating either my terrorist yesterday suggested it and made me walk a half marathon round the house till she was happy. Two more big milestones left which will be outside on the stick then independent walking both of which I think will take more time now. Sadly the result of my desire to move through the the process quickly has meant that my current team of terrorists who are hospital linked have discharged me to the community team. I will reserve judgement till Monday when I meet them. For all the pain they have put me through I will miss my guys they have kept me sane and encouraged me every step.....we are so lucky to have our brilliant NHS for all the stick they take.
Today I will finish the utility which I neglected for netflix yesterday. Burger last night was lush, tonight its a carbonara
Hope you all have a great day14 -
Good morning everyone
More rain here, I am so fed up of it but at least it isn't as bad as the poor people in Wales. I have a couple of physio-terrorists coming at 9.30 to put me through my paces. I am dreading it as it has been too painful to do my exercises and I haven't been out for a couple of weeks either. My anxiety is raging.
Everyone here is still in bed the lucky things. I did my usual 4 trips to the bathroom through the night and then gave up on sleep in the early hours. I am waiting to hear whether I have now got some sort of kidney failure. I am so sad about it as it just seems like bad news after bad news with my health. Poor Steve bears the brunt of my anxieties but I just feel so guilty. I get more news on Tuesday so I will have to try and get through the weekend without going too mad.
Steve is going to make a chicken and leek pie for dinner and I am having salmon with tagliatelle as I don't want any pastry. I have been eating rubbish again as it is my default setting when upset but I am going to try to do better now as it does help a bit.
So sorry it's moan moan moan when there are so many of us with health or other problems. Hope you all have a great day whatever you are up to, take care xx

Morning everyone
Nelski - have you watched The Stranger on Netflix? - I can recommend it
Well I'm still achy and not 100% but managed to stay up all day yesterday so that's good. Back at work next week so hopefully I'll be ok.
I've a man coming to repair my washing machine this morning between 8.15 and 11.15 - it's not actually broken yet but the drum is making a really loud noise when it spins - sound like it's about to take off! I thought I may as well get it fixed while I'm at home.
Need to get some shopping later, I'll either walk down and bus back home or get DD to take me. Then I'm going down to her house for tea tonight - she's trying to lose some weight so it will be something healthy.
Hope everyone has a good day

Oh dear, such a lot of poorly people today, I hope you all have as good a day as possible.
I didn't post yesterday because I was being so boring I couldn't bring myself to put pen to paper so to speak. Today we plan to go to Milton Keynes, we have been decorating the bedroom and I want to get a new quilt cover and try to get some new curtains. Only a plain white quilt cover because I am making an appliqued quilt to go over it, hopefully it will be finished fairly soon. I seem to have got my sewing mojo back so I'm happy about that.
We are going down to Laura's tomorrow for the weekend. It's her birthday on Sunday and Brian wants to take her out tomorrow and they are going to Secret Cinema on Saturday so we will have lots of Esben to ourselves!12 -

Morning all, up with the lark this morning picking up our friend who comes to stay 2 or 3 days a week, then shopping at Mr T's, back home by 8.30.Meditation done and dinner prepped. Oven to clean this afternoon and some pottering.
Very windy here today again and rain is forecast soon but we are so lucky here, my thoughts are with all those who are affected by the extreme weather conditions.
I have come in late and so don't know many of your stories and I am so sorry that some of you are struggling. Sending hugs to those who need them. Stay safe and have a good day.‘It never hurts to keep looking for sunshine’ - Winnie the Pooh11 -

Have been on a trip with DS1 to collect DGD2 from her two hour training swimming and to show us the easiest shops if we need anything while they are away. We have yet to be informed on good places to eat as I think that the cooking will be little.....we are on holiday after all!

Thinking of you Dumpling xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.5
