MENTAL HEALTH PROVEN NEW INTERVIEW DEMANDED

Options
I started claiming UC just over 1 year ago. I had a nervous breakdown after husband left and other issues. Initially I went through usual rubbish assessment, found fit to work despite being terribly mentally I'll and on 9 diff types of medication. The decision was overturned at Mandatory Recon approx 3months ago and I was put in the LImited Capacity for work. My ESA shortfall was backdated and I was told by work coach I needed no further monthly  interviews with her and I would now be left alone.

Despite this assurance less than 2.5 months from the MR success I've now received a text saying read message in UC. I did. It is insisting i attend a mandatory 30 minute telephone meeting with (not my local job centre Gosport but Southampton. It states the purpose of the meeting is to discuss if I am receiving the correct UC amount. I know I am this was all checked out with old work coach. The note comes from DIPS who are they. Why am I being harassed again less than 3 months after winning my MR. This is seriously distressing and worrying me and triggering my panic and anxiety.

Has anyone any idea what DIPS is, and why I'm being demanded to attend this telephone meeting and threatened with potential.sanctions if I refuse.

My mental health classes me as vunerable my doctor has even supported this in writing. The demand today has caused a major panic and asthma attack.

Has anyone else experienced this sort of demand, who or what are DIPS.....why are DWP harrassing me and causing me more stress. I just dont believe their li e about ' we want to be certain you are receiving the correct amount of benefit line. It smells to me like they think I'm lying or they are trying to challenge my claim again.

Is this paranoia on my part due to my illness. Has anyone else experienced this?

I can only assume that it's either a random check to see if you're claiming the correct benefits or someone has reported you for something and it's a compliance interview. If you've done nothing wrong then you have nothing to worry about but you will need to be available to take the call on the day/time stated.
