I've recently been informed that due to a mistake on my part that I failed to disclose a prior accident on my new policy that my insurer were cancelling my policy. Also my partner who was named on it was having hers cancelled too. Can anyone tell me if I cancel my policy before they cancel it will I still have to declare the none disclosure when applying for another. Also is there any way out of this mess that I will be penilised for the rest of my life.
Thank you

You need to phone your insurer and ask if you can cancel it. If they agree that you can cancel it first, you will not have to declare the cancellation in future.
Your partner will not have to declare the cancellation in any event if she was only a named driver on your policy. If you're a named driver on any car policy she might have, you need to declare it fast otherwise she will be in a similar predicament1 -
Problem I have is we are both on separate policies with esure so they have cancelled hers because she was a named driver on mine and she feels she has no argument. This is very distressing as neither of us intended to defraud them and we are both now going to have to pay premiums 80% more than we pay now. Mine has gone up over £1000 and once my van comes up for renewal I will no longer be able to afford the premium so will have to fold my business0

I have contacted esure on several occasions and they will not budge and don't appear to want to help in any way

What was the reason for the non-disclosure and would it have made an underwriting difference if you had of disclosed it (ie premium increase or a decline).

Are you a named driver on hers...?Colinjewitt said:Problem I have is we are both on separate policies with esure so they have cancelled hers because she was a named driver on mine
Would they allow hers to stay if you're removed as a named driver?
I presume this collision is one that went through as a claim - how long ago? Fault?0 -

The names of these companies get more and more ridiculous. From a brief search they have poor reviews and are based in Gibraltar.CarolK said:HiHas anyone had any issues getting in touch with Pukka Insurance if you need to claim?1
