Why did they stop your housing benefit?  Did you start work?

You r friend needs to start his own thread but there is not enough info there for anyone to help. Ask him to start a new thread with his marital status, if he is responsible for any children, is he working at all, disabled, etc.

He doesn't need to be desperate though, he has £9k so I am sure he has enough to last until he finds out what his UC award will be.

Ignoring the other poster who jumped on your thread, what caused your Housing benefit and CTR to stop? Have they changed again? Do you get any other benefits (such as Tax Credits)?

Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

They just said I wasn’t entitled to housing benefits anymore so I went onto universal credit and they have said I am entitled to housing benefits I just don’t understand it

I was already working nothing changed at all I just had a letter to say I wasn’t entitled to housing benefits and had to pay it back, if I wanted to claim again I had to go on universal credit, so I came off the phone and phoned them straight away and they have said I’m entitled to housing benefits just doesn’t make sense

It's been 6 months since you first posted your question, what have you done since then?
