I save. £500pm First Direct, £250 Virgin and £500 Principality to deal with a lump sum sitting of £13,000
I want to save a further £500-£700 pm.
Any suggestions where? Lock away if needed 4 years.

Interest rates are dire, and I don't see any chance of rates rising. It seems the age of low and zero rates is becoming the norm. When your regular savers mature you may as well chance your arm with between 0% and a million and go with Premium Bonds..._0

If you have never had nationwide flex direct can get 5% on £2500 for a year (also £100 switching bonus available if you can get a friend to refer you).Coventry building society has 2.5% regular saver (up to £500 pm).I assume the lump sum is a high rate easy access account?0

Coventry Regular Saver, 2.5% AER, £500 max/mth. Some other Regular Savers might be suitable, too - check the Regular Savers thread.
How do you save £500/mth into FD, btw?0
