Refund on wheelchair - within 4 months of purchase

Basically my wife has a wheelchair we bought mid October - all was fine until Mid January - the front right castor wheel fork broke whilst out so we contacted the company and asked for a refund as we could not trust the wheelchair was not going to break the same way again and my wife had hurt her hand when the wheelchair fell when she had to put her hand out on a nearby door to prevent coming out of the wheelchair. They refused and said as it was 3 months since we bought the wheelchair it would need to be repaired and then sent out a new front fork after about 10 days of waiting.
We did fix it on straight away but was very wary of using the chair again until yesterday when we went out...the same thing happened again except on the left hand fork this time. We went back to the company and they told us that as it was a different side they only needed to repair it again and would not offer a refund or replacement.
Does anyone know if the company are correct on this and we have to accept another repair after such a short while or should they refund?

As they have had their One Opportunity to Repair then the purchaser can exercise their Final Right to Reject the goods for a full refund (since it is still less than 6 months from purchase).
