Help please! Bankruptcy error

Options
Hi everyone
im hoping someone can help shed some light on a very stressful situation!
we realised this morning that our cards weren’t working so I contacted the bank. We bank with tsb and have a joint account and a personal account each. My partners account is showing that he is in bankruptcy and the joint account and his personal one have been frozen. We went to our branch when we got no joy on the phone and they struggled to figure out what was going on! We have no debts and recently bought our first home.
We have left it in the hands of a very nice lady at the branch who is looking into it and has an email address of somebody in bankruptcy.
I am having a mini meltdown at the moment thinking we are going to lose our home! Surely this has to be some kind of bank error?!?
Any similar experiences or advice would be much welcome!xx
