Self employed or paye

Options
Hope this is in the correct place.

I have just started a new job which I will be classed as self employed, however, they will enter me up for PAYE.
I have spoken to a lot of the people there and most of them are either self employed or set up as a limited business.
I am a bit confused about the whole thing and was wondering what is the best for me.
I have an occupational pension and all my tax allowance goes on that pension. I do not get holidays or sick pay, but the hours are so flexible
which is why I chose it.
Should I stay with PAYE or go self employed or limited company.
Any help would be great.
Thanks

  • The job is either self employed where you do your own tax returns or its employed under PAYE, something smells wrong if they want to class you as self employed when you aren't, what type of job is it?
