Also, I took a bit of a wild punt last week.  I was due on a stag do this weekend, so had £350 saved up for spending money over the four days in Spain.

As that was cancelled I decided to take some advise from a friend (I know I know) and buy some Crypo Currency from an App I had used before. Anyway, long story short, I bought £350 worth of CHAINLINK crypto at £1.23 per coin. 5 Days later, I was up to £530 - which is great, although, as with Crypto the highs and lows are big, so down to £442 value at the moment.

I've decided, in a rather risky move to let this ride at the moment and see where we are in a few months. If I can double my money and get this to £700 I will withdraw it all perhaps!

Some good news in times of sadness, the wife's bonus is £3975, which after tax will be enough to clear her half of the credit card plus a few hundred in her savings for a rainy day.

Thank you. I hope you're all safe too,

Bonus payday has arrived and I've made my payments and so has the wife, here is how we are looking.

Balance as of last week £4,718.30

    Payments
    £2250 (Wife bonus)
    £1327 (my bonus)
    £50 joint account payment.

    Total payments: £3,627
    Remaining balance: £1,091.30

    Future payments:
    £206 (Wife's expenses)
    £115 (Ryan Air Refund)

    Total : £321
    Remaining balance £770.30
Not quiet the full pay off I wanted, but still we've reduced it by around £4,000 in one month!

I'll update a final total when future payments go off.

    😢

    OK miss calculation from me.

Latest statement actually shows that I owe £740.73 on the credit card.

So far during lockdown I've managed to save £450 from my wage, and that should be available at the end of the month.
Also remember I said I put some money into crypto from that I had saved from a stag do I didn't go on?

If was £350. Well with ups and downs this morning the portfolio has just broke £700 in value!! So literally doubled my money.

As it stands I have enough to clear my credit card and a few quid left over.
However. My plan is to use the £450 saved this month on the credit card and try the same next month, keeping my crypto portfolio as reports suggest it Wil go up higher.

If I reach £1k I will withdraw it all I think or maybe half and keep the profit in there to see how that does.?

Though lockdown is horrendous for many, financially staying in has some benefits.
