This offer ends at 23.59 on 4/12/07
You then make your order up to £50 with other items and at the checkout use the coupon code XX-TYHK which is valid until 09/12/07.
If you make up your shopping with some of the BOGOF offers your guide price may be £50, qualifying you to use the coupon code but you will only end up paying about £40 even including the delivery.
The 2 lots of 500 points are worth £40 in Tesco deals so you end up getting lots of shopping for nothing.
I put my order in tonight and have my delivery booked for next Tuesday.:D

It says "This offer is valid on one transaction only, and can only be used once by each customer." so why will you get TWO lots of 500points?

because the coupon code will give you a further 500 points.

You make a VERY good point - I just steamed ahead yesterday without reading the T&Cs of this offer and had to cancel the order and re-order it. Incidentally, the T&Cs of this promotion are rather curious. I have a feeling there are going to MANY disgruntled punters who don't get their points.

Terms and Conditions

Tesco's maths is clearly not one of their strong points as there are definitely 25 different items to choose from. They are also not aware of the smart people who use this site to find out how to increase their points totals.

Could l please ask,when do the 500 clubcard points get awarded as they did not show at the checkout?

Just done our shop - remember the 5p fuel also kicks in at £50 spend, so it may pay to ensure that you overspend so the discounts/substitutions and non-availability still tally to £50+

The terms and conditions state that the extra 500 points will be credited up to 2 weeks after the end of the promotion. It ends on 4th December so they should show up by 18th December.
