Supermarket Snobbery

I use a john lewis credit card for our very small business which is paid in full each month and accrues points, which are converted every 3 months. its such a pleasure walking into waitrose armed with my money vouchers, on top of that I check out the topcashback, quidco, checkout smart and shopmium sites to see it there are any deals too, so I make a long list of my goodies and pay less than £1 which I pay in 10p pieces and usually walk out with over £30 of goods!!  this haul is divided between the 4 partners, 2 of which are very well off, alas not us!! some of the checkout ladies are really good sports and the customers behind me seem amazed!! I love the challenge of getting something for nowt, even better when in a posh supermarket I wouldnt normally shop in!!

I'm really enjoying reading all these stories, and beginning to understand why DH and I often walk into car salesrooms  and are completely ignored. This suits us fine, as he is a confirmed petrolhead, and invariably knows much more than the 'expert'  about the vehicles he is supposed to be selling.
