  • Anyway, I’m gonna leave this thread here...I’ve had the answers I was looking for (thanks IceQueen and Colcotti). I’m just frustrated that my pension isn’t classed as “earned” income. Thank you all.

    No, private rent but every time I enter my details in UC (or at job centre interviews) I’ve had the same result. 
    If you rent privately I do not understand why you would not be entitled to some help with rent. Have you shown UC copy of your tenancy agreement.
    Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
