Renting out property on Airbnb after receiving Stamp Duty relief

Our daughter received Stamp Duty relief as a 1st time buyer in May 2019. She is thinking of going to Uni part-time so the property will be empty 2 weeks a month.
Will she be breaking any rules if she posts and potentially gets a stayer using Airbnb for the times she is at Uni and not staying in the apartment?
If she decides to go to Uni full-time then how long after receiving stamp duty relief can you let out your apartment on a longer 6-12 rental contract.
Sorry that was 2 questions
Thanks
Chris

Stamp duty doesn't have much to do with this.Is the property mortgaged? Do the T&Cs allow Airbnb'ing the whole property (as opposed to a room while you are there). If you have a mortgage, letting it on an AST will require a Consent to Let from the lender. If there is no mortgage involved, there shouldn't be anything stopping her from the above. It would be recommended that she get home insurance that covers such activity.Edit: Missed the apartment bit. As Neil has said, you need to check the lease as well as most prohibit short-lets. Sorry about the omission.1

No hard and fast rules, it's down to what was her intention when she bought it. Has she been occupying it as her principal residence since May?1

If she is a leaseholder there is a lot to be aware of

She will need to check her lease, carefully

You can rent immediately if your bank and freeholder agree1
