Apparent CCJ and High Court Writ

Options
HI guys. Ive read through the newbies stuff and some threads on the topic but can't seem to find anything that fits this situation so thought i would ask for help.

Ive had a letter from Marston titled "notice of enforcement" on behalf of "uk parking control ltd"

High Court Writ of control
Based on Norwich combined Court judgment with claim number xxxx
Judgment requested by UK Parking Control Ltd on xx october 2019

I think it is for a parking ticket in my old block of flats that i lived in years ago  , for a bike that was there as it wasn't working . But im not sure as I've never had a parking ticket. If it was given a ticket it was probably sent to the old address.

Is there anyway to get the ccj wiped as the ticket would have been sent to an old address. Or at least reset the process so i can pay a small parking ticket rather than a large fine .

See post #2 of the Newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum, which covers set asides, which is what you asked about

Also see the dozens of CCJ set aside threads on here as well, where £255 is mentioned

Email a SAR to the DPO at ukpc to get all your data
  • high court would be  for matters over £600 I think , you need to check credit reports + a lot more
  • I read about the over 600 bit and im guessing it is for now over 600 as it has racked up costs along the way ?

How do you check if you have a ccj or find out what it is for ?

I checked my credit report but can't see anything .

there have been other occassions where nothing shows , trust online i believe is the one to contact

PS it  is  600 before extra legal costs (bailiffs )
  • So when i look on Trust Online there is a ccj in my name at my old address  , but nothing in my name at my current address (6+ years)

However I'm obviously getting the Marston letter to my current address

I'm guessing that is a good start to have the ccj set aside ?

From reading the FAQ and newbies stuff I'm thinking my next steps are ...

1 Call Norwich Combined Court to see if there are any more details

2 Send a subject access request to UK parking control data protection officer  , or if i can't find one to their general email address , regarding my name at my current address and my name at my old address ?

3 Ask for the ccj to be set aside , using a N244 form ? (not a section 14 , that is magistrates court right ?)

When i send the N244 does that pause or stop Marston for the time being ? As it says i have to contact them by tomorrow afternoon.

    Thanks anyone that can help
