Electric Shower - Want to change to a pumped

We had an electric shower changed to a digital mixer shower last week. We have a hot water tank so bought a gravity fed model whereas if we had had a combi boiler then a different (but similarly priced version) would have been required.
Only one tile was replaced in the changeover. The water gets hot pretty quickly and the flow is excellent. Touch tile it seems a very good decision. I wasn't allowed (by 'er indoors) to get the remote control that turned on the shower from bed but as we are five paces from the shower and it would have cost over £100 not a great loss.1 -
Thanks everyone. I had a good close look today and it really could all do with re-doing. The tiles need re-grouting, the mastic is horrible and the shower tray has long since lost its shine. Sorry for the late answer. Yes bath cladding is the same as kitchen cladding. If you use cladding you do not need to plaster the ceiling you can simply hammar it in. It is easier if you use trims because they can hide bad edges, even if you cut 1 or 2 cm off because it would be hidden. You may save some time with the re grouting if you scrape it with a grout tool 1mm easier if you have a multi power tool and just make new grout and fill it in.When you look into an abyss, the abyss also looks into you. Please note that at no point during this work was the kettle ever put out of commission and no chavs were harmed during the making of this post.0
