Octopus £50 referral T&Cs please?

Hi,

Could an Octopus customer please share the T&Cs of the £50 referral scheme? I can't seem to find it online.

I specifically would like to check -

- does it pay out if I was an Octopus customer 10 months ago (if it makes any difference that was just through MSE Cheap Energy Club, not through a referral)

- can you switch away soon as it is credited

8.3 You will not be eligible to refer customers to us under the referral scheme if:

8.3.4 The person you refer has been a customer of Octopus Energy within the last 12 months;

Yes, no exit penalties dont have to stay after it is credited

Thanks. In that case I'll just switch to the best-buy Avro for now and then reassess after a few months.

Remember to keep checking for their new tariffs, which are released every month or so.  You probably don't have any exit fees so you can switch and get any lower rates immediately, no messing about with cooling off periods and meter reading verifications.
