Lcwra backpayment

Options
Hi, I was placed in lcwra on the 11th of February, I first provided medical evidence on the 4th October 2019 and had my WCA on the 23rd of January so I know that I’m due a small backpayment , my question is does anyone know when I will receive it?

  • What dates are your assessment period? The LCWRA payment backdates to the fourth full AP since first sending in fit notes, so just going by the dates you've given, it is possible you may potentially have one backpayment, or none.

Okay, so your first LCWRA payment is due in your February payment.

I mean, that will be the first LCWRA payment you're entitled to. No backpay, because the Jan-Feb AP is the fourth full AP since you started handing in fit notes, so the first one for which the LCWRA element is payable.

I agree with spoon_turtle. The 17th January to 16th February assessment period is the first period for which a LCWRA element is payable. It should therefore be included in the payment due on 23rd February. There are no arrears due for any period prior to 17th January.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
