Recent Searches Disappeared?

Hi guys,

I applied for a new lease vehicle yesterday and the lease/finance company did a search on my Experian report

They then asked for my latest tax return, which i have emailed them, however, checking Experian again today, i noticed that their searches have disappeared from my 'recent activity'.

Does anyone know why?

I always thought that once the search had been made, it stayed on there?

I don't know if this applies, but the free credit report versions only update monthly.

Cheers, but i am paying the monthly subscription.

Just got off them phone to them and the guy said that he can still see it from his end, but didn't know why it wasn't my end but he did say to log in again tomorrow to check as he said it might re-appear.

Interestingly, I have one vehicle on lease from VW and one from ALD, and neither of those show up in my accounts page, and again, he didn't have an answer as ALD and VWFS register their products with them.

Any ideas?
