I would say that the Party Wall Act can be ignored.A fence is owned by whoever paid to have it erected so can be a shared ownership fence if both sides contributed towards it's cost.Are you trying to claim the fence belongs to you or your neighbour?What does your neighbour say about ownership of the fence?0

What's the actual question here, as it relates to you?You probably aren't researching this for fun. If it isn't a wall, it can't be a party wall but it could be a party fence wall. I don't
think the act applies to ordinary fence panels and posts. Maybe it just means that the responsibility for maintaining it is shared.You don't say why you're interested, but that's what's going to yield a potential
answer for you.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
