    Your parents changed to tenants -in- common, presumably on a 50% basis.
    His  interest in the property  is part of his estate.
    Did your father leave his interest in the property to your mother?

    Yes, the property was always and remains on a 50% basis, as husband and wife and he has left it to my mother. I think that mum wanted to do it in case she passed first and my dad might find another woman and not leave the flat to his children.
