Getting on to Telephone Preference Service

Is there a phone number I can phone to  put an elderly relative on this.   I suspect the 03 number is automated which may cause confusion.  Any tips?

Be aware that TPS cannot be of use for the majority of scam calls/ overseas calls etc .

That would need a Call Blocker .

As above, the TPS service is of very limited use and in my experience has no effect on the majority of unwanted calls, especially the ones from foreign callers.

Buy them a chocolate teapot instead - it would be more use.

Alternatively, buy them a BT Call blocking phone  - nuisance calls will be no more

TPS removes only genuine marketing calls from real businesses.
It has no effect on scam calls, nor should it.
If this relative is "vulnerable", approach your local council to see if they are participating in the scheme where they loan out a trueCall unit free of charge for as long as it is needed.
