Excel Parking Notice - ANPR Aldi

Hi,
I have read Newbies at length amongst other posts but remain unsure on what to do in my case.
The car park in question is a ticketless ANPR privately owned car park run by Excel Parking. There are a number of surrounding shops including Aldi, where if you spend over £10 you get two hours free parking. To redeem this honour, you type your number plate into a computer at the front of the store which I do every single time without fail to avoid the nuisance of dealing with PCNs...
Needless to say I have had the pleasure of receiving a PCN a few weeks ago. This is my first ever notice and I proceeded to appeal without reading any online advice (naive of me). I essentially thought it would be a no-brainer that my appeal would be accepted due to a technological error of some sort. I attached a bank statement to the appeal stating the amount I had paid in the particular Aldi (>£10) and the time of transaction. I also stated that I was the driver of the vehicle (yes, I now know that this is not a good idea).
I received my e-mail letter back from them today and obviously the appeal has been rejected. After a bit of reading I am now aware of how rogue these companies are. I appreciate there is probably no point in appealing to the IAS. However, is it still reasonable to now not do anything after declaring myself as the driver? I also move house this month and I believe I should let them know of my new address so that I don't miss any court orders?
I have called Aldi customer services and they cannot do anything as it is a privately owned car park and not one of their normal ParkingEye ones.
Many thanks and apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere.

IIMU that Aldi invariably cancel these claims.
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

Aldi customer services is very poor. As a customer and you can prove it, go straight to the MD
Even if they don't own the land, the MD will know who the landlord is
Land owners are not immune to the fall in shops in retail parks and employing a company like Excel is a great way to hold the retailers in contempt by losing customers
Ask the MD to contact the landowner to get this cancelled. No harm in telling him that this Aldi has become too expensive to useALDI UK

My husband received an Excel parking notice we appealed as he had paid and in a correct bay but it was too short so his van was hanging over the rear white line of the box. This is a common problem I should have sent them photos. We did not received a reply to our appeal and now have the classic £160 now as debt collectors now involved. There was never a ticket of any description placed on his wind screen either. I am going to ignore this scarey letter plus iceland have lost us as a customer as we will not use this carpark again. Just looking for some encouraging words that they cant take this any further ?0

Of course they can take it further
They can issue a small claim using the CCBC in Northampton (court claim) , within 6 years0 -

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
