ebay survery re managed payments

I've just been asked to undertake a survey from ebay around the new managed payment system that is already rolled out partly in the US. It made for interesting reading, especially the multitude of ways to reconfigure the total payment (to include paypal fees as well as ebay) - if you have the chance to do the survey then I would recommend you do it. It does take a bit of reading, there are several pages with a choice of options and ti is worth considering the option that best suits your business. For example for me I wanted an option that allowed lower fees on small purchases - although the only option was for sub £5 sales in any of the scenarios. They are basically looking, I suspect, for whether a higher rate, often up to 15% with no minimum was better than a slightly lower rate but with a minimum  fee- that varied between 15- 50p.

They also asked about where else I sold, although that in itself was interesting as there was an option for onbuy - which I onlysaw mentioned on here for the first time last week, or etsy/Amazon etc. neither ebid (which I think is generally considered dead) was mentioned nor facebook marketplace .

I did also add free text saying that although my fees are actually dropping it is because I now limit what I list due to my selling more elsewhere .
