Why is your front wall stuck out so far then has some land been stolen to make your drive bigger? Is your fence right up to you boundary? You build a retaining wall, level off the grass to the path and place the fence on top of the new wall?

I think the house is quite nice. Can't comment on price as I don't know the areas, hopefully a couple of other people who are more able will be able to advise on that.
The only problem that would flag up to me is picture 6, too many too big sofas (too deep, I only buy sofas less than 100cm depth because unless you live in a furniture warehouse, they overwhelm most lounge rooms) make the room look smaller than it is and very narrow. I'd probably try to beg borrow or steal some smaller ones, or at least remove the one against the wall. Kitchen and bedrooms look really nice. Personally, I think the garden is ok too.2 -
This is something we have looked into and paid to have looked into. When the new estate was built this is the way the land was sold off by the owners of our home. When we purchased our house we didnt have kids and neither of us were bothered by the garden or the bath on the side. We were first time buyers wanting our own place. I have been back and fourth with the land managers on this and have got nowhere to date. I have today been researching the best trees for privacy is small gardens and will be having a word with my garden loving father in law for a hand in planting them. Hopefully this will help sell the house a little quicker.0 -
Agree with Davesnave......
Although the houses we've purchased over the years have been much older than the OP's (not to mention being projects), some of the gardens - the current half acre plus included - have required complete landscaping/planting up as the previous owners have not been that way inclined. Our experience has been that it's best to start work on the outside space at the outset, alongside any interior work required. That way, by the time the inside is finished you have a maturing garden that is pleasant to sit out in rather than somewhere as bare as a badger's you know what

Im not sure anyone would complain if you put up a new fence that happened to be 7ft and you dumped 6in of soil against it on the outside so its 6.6ft if any busybody measured it.

If someone offered £380 they should defiantly accept it, but everyone expects to get a 'deal' when buying.
