Credit utilisation ratio & paying off mid-month

Hello,
Newbie here, so apologies if this has been answered - have searched forums but have not found the correct answer myself.
I have just got a HSBC Rewards Credit Card and one of the offers was that you receive £25 worth of points should you spend £10000 in the first twelve months, which would be doable for me if I put all flight bookings, tickets etc. on this card.
However my credit limit is £1000 per month, so to spend £10000 in 12 months I would have to spend an average of £833 per month to hit that. I would be easily able to pay that off in full every month, but I have been told that for my credit score to benefit I should stay within 30% of my credit utilisation ratio - about £300 per month or so.
If I spend say £300 on the credit card in March, pay it off, spend another £300 on the card, pay that off, and then spend another £300 on the card and pay it off in the same month will that look as though I am staying within that 30% region as I will never go above it? Or will too-frequent payments not look good either?
Any advice gratefully received. I am mainly doing this for the building up of a credit score but don't want to let the £25 bonus go wasted if it's within my reach!
Many thanks x

Don't worry about the credit score.  It's not a 'thing', as the current vernacular would have it.  All that matters is how you manage your accounts.

Utilisation isn't an issue if you're clearing in full each month. Keep it simple and have a full pay DD to take care of it.

It's more important to not miss a payment than worry about % of credit usage.
You could easily spend £10K in one month. Make payment, pay it off. Rinse & repeat. Of course that is not a effective way of using a credit card.
If you get the chance to spend more than £1K in a month, then simply pay off what you need to allow you to spend as much as you need.

The 30% doesn’t matter. Spend on the card and pay it in full after the statement. Be aware that the £1000 is a credit limit, not a per month or per statement limit. If you spend close to your limit then get a statement, you don’t have another £1000 to spend until you’ve cleared your account or you’ll find yourself over limit.
  • Not sure about HSBC, but many banks will likely offer you a credit limit increase if they see you're spending a lot on their card.
  • Btw, don't overspend just to get small £25 bonus. :) £10000 is a lot of money! Only spend it if you would have spent it anyway!

You can easily get £100 bonus in the form of cashback with this American Express card:

As you can see it pays 5% cashback in the first 3 months from account opening.
