My travel insurance expires in early March. I booked some time ago to visit Taiwan and Japan in early April. Unless the FCO says otherwise I still intend to go. I am struggling to find a company with the best and appropriate cover. My current provider says I am not covered for most eventualities as any issue would be as a result of an epidemic. New companies are also unlikely to cover as this is now a “known fact”. What are my options? Should I shop around or is it important I stay with my current insurance provider? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

when you renew your insurance, you will potentially make it difficult to get cover as it is a risk in that region, speak to an insurance broker to see if you can get cover"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
