Electricity Economy 10 Tariffs

Options
Can anyone tell me which energy suppliers provide an Economy 10 tariff. I am currently with EDF.
I have no wish to change my existing multi-rate meter.
Many Thanks

  • Very few. All providers would rather get all customers off E10 contracts. All providers charge +/- the same/similar price.

It's now a "straightjacket" tariff wherever you might GoTo.

This but to make things clear.

You are on a legacy tarrif that no one wants to support.

Right now the companies don't want to do anything about it because they are all losing money on the domestic market.

One day the government will make them do something.

This will be chaning you to e7.

Your choices right now are stay with the company you are with or be in for a world of pain and the point that once you leave they do not have to accept you back (the new company will at best charge you as e7 and at worst single rate, if it somehow goes through).

Though yes I appriciate doing something right now will cost you. I think it will still cost you once the government forces it though (you will be left with a semi working system you have to pay to fix).

  • It is very hard to find provider of Economy 10 tariff
Possibly a blessing in disguise.

Do not attempt to switch supplier with this type of metering.
Attempts to do so invariably end in tears.
