JSA payment & SDP

Mum rang me in a frazzle earlier to say she was confused about a phone call.

She attended the job centre Monday as usual and her usual JSA payment date is Thursday (tomorrow).

With her been awarded PIP, JSA rang to say they have been informed and asked her to answer a few questions so they could assess it and if she's entitled to adjust her JSA payments and sort back pay out.

They seem to have told her the JSA payment tomorrow hasn't been actioned because of this, so she's under the impression it wont go in, and the woman said it would go in next week, is this because they are adjusting the amount?

Should I get her to call back maybe when I'm there so I can find out what's going on.?

If payment doesn't go in tomorrow then she should ring to ask for a same day payment and this should be done within a few hours. Unfortunately, there's nothing she can do today.
  • Okay, thank you.

I'll pop over after work tomorrow morning and see what's happened.
