You would need to check with your local council as rules on eligibility are made at a local level.

You ask can you get a bus pass and then say one was sent yesterday? I'm a little confused with this. As has been advised, you'll need to look at the criteria of your local council because being in the Support Group for ESA doesn't automatically entitled you to this.

    I'm confused too.
Our bus passes  have photos on them (not sure if that applies to all areas).

My daughters does too. I would think they all do because otherwise anyone could use them.

I am autistic formaly diagnosed a genuine case, and although no formal adult testing is available for dyspraxia I am passing the online test sites for dyspraxia, and my previous gp does say that dyspraxia often walks hand in hand with autism disorders, and does suspect highly suspect I also have mild dyspraxia. I had a issue with my esa although official and verified by a district physchiatric nurse is it and my gp who passed me over to the nurse for confirmation of the diagnosis, I called the benefit centre some centre I found a phone number of where they process claims I think it was, I asked is it possible to get a bus pass !!!!!! genuinely I cannot stand long and all the bus stops are none seated now, and I have to miss these private diamond and johnson buses as can't afford a second ticket to use one, yet I see a centro bus pass works on all busses any hour, and that if disabled I might be entitled as can't stand as mentioned? The rep said oh yeah your on esa you should be on pip any way unable to stand or walk far, I'll send a claim pack out. So get the pack he told me you only get a bus pass on pip no longer any other disability claim like esa I am stuck with :(

Next I get sent letters and arranged appointments at home in the end was arranged, with someone to assess my claim to pip, well nightmares then, I next got a capability for work assesment is it letter, I couldn't get there birmingham from ine 14miles out no direct buses, any way mum took me, I told absolute truth black/white no grey area autism prohibits a lie for me any way, next I get a reje3ction from them and hit with a reduction of 50+ pounds a week or 100+ a fortnight, saying I can work taunt amount I don't have verified autism etc etc no you don't get pip you get 100 less a fortnight, I had that appealing it for 6-9 weeks, I ended up getting my local mp involved then they admitted it was a physio not a physchiatrist assessing me and clearly comments made not to fact we will send it to a independent physchiatric specialist, and bang immediately they said no your genuine as stated your claim will be re-instated, but still no bus pass as they just reverted me to esa bypassing a pip accepted claim bypassing a bus pass, therefore don't go there
I had to appeal and go through my mp to get anywhere any results, no lie I told black/white facts and truths didn't exaggerate or extend to any mythosis to false claim I hate lying, and no exaggeration when I appealed I demanded a recoded transcript of the assessment and the lady physio litterally no bull lied multiple times, saying things like he can do directions, he talks to the bus driver at length he play video games when I said I no longer do for years since I did, really snarky I will undermine him with so many lies and expansive exaggerative none sensicle remarks they will have to cut his payment, they may as well have said your not autistic and you aint getting more than job seekers work or no work ability just accept it but I faught and I won as they lied numerous times, within 48hrs after that specialist reviewed my case on my remarks and responses he said no you are not and never will be fit for the expected jsa work role criteria and this should not even be in dispute. So yeah don't fall into that missleading apply for pip to get a bus pass mumbo a rep throws at you.

Yes there is adult testing for dyspraxia. I've had it in the Walton neurological hospital and was diagnosed.
So you have genuine autism, as opposed to the non genuine?

Pip only gets you a bus bus pass IF you get the correct points in specific mobility criteria. I get high rate mobility but not in moving around so pip points won't get me a bus pass. I meet other criteria however as I have epilepsy.
