My husband proposed to me in a Dubai shopping mall!!
we were staying fo 2 night and visited this mall, I was wandering about in shorts tee shirt and flip flops with a tesco shopping bag!! He didn’t get down on on knee ( he wouldn’t have got up again) but he held my hand and asked if I would marry him it was the last thing I was expecting and I did say yes but I was in shock. That was in January 2004 and we married in the July that year at Dunkeld Cathedral a beautiful day. A second marriage for us both but no regrets. 😀💙♥️2 -
I can't say mine was particularly romantic, but it was extremely special. I had been diagnosed with breast cancer and was due for an operation on the thursday. My husband was rushed into hospital on the Saturday before, with a ?? Bowel obstruction. He underwent emergency surgery on the monday. It was touch and go, when he came out of surgery I proposed to him and he said yes, to this day he says he didn't know what he was saying because he was still under anaesthetic. We have been married 5 years this year, I am cancer free and he has a healthy bowel. 😀😀
