Mis-sold Unsuitable Product and Payment Dispute - where can I go next?

I am a sole trader with a hobby that I have been looking to turn into a small just for fun business. To date I have had no clients, so in October I decided to hold a stall at a show in the industry my business relates to, simply to test if it was a viable business or not.
During the show I was approached by a publishing company for a national magazine and they offered me what I thought was advertising space in their magazine costing in the region of £500. At no point was a breakdown of the product or the full cost disclosed to me during the conversation and the only figure mentioned was £499.
Since then I received a number of phone calls where the company has been asking me to provide stuff that I don't have or even fully understand e.g. 'banners' 'copy' and other digital content. I have explained to the company that I don't have a company logo or banners or anything else. I haven't provided anything to them.
In November the calls stopped and I thought nothing of it as I was moving house and has other things happening in my life at the time.
Until...mid January this year where I received an e-mail stating that I am in debt for circa £2760 payable immediately or the debt will be sold to third party debt collectors.
I responded stating that there must be a mis-understanding (at first I thought it was a scam). Since then we have exchanged numerous e-mails where they claim that they had sent invoices to me that I had not received and that I had agreed to this package. I have stated each time that this was not what I thought I was agreeing to, that I believe I had been mis-sold a product I cannot use and that had it been made explicitly clear to me that this package was for £2760 would never had agreed to it as I don't have that kind of money. I only received a breakdown of the product after I raised dispute over what I had been sold.
They keep stating that I have never cancelled the product but I have explained that I had not realised that I was signing up for this product nor the cost.
After going round in circles they are now saying that they will go for debt recovery and the total stated in the last e-mail is now £3300.
What are my options? This is now causing me a lot of stress.

You will have to read the small print of what you actually signed.
what you "thought" you were signing for is mainly irrelevant - unless you have actually been told an untruth0 -
Hi JamoLew…thank you for your response. There is no small print as such. I have been sent a copy of the 'booking form' which contains details my details e.g. address, e-mail etc and a grid of the publications that the company does work for ad has boxes ticked for 'mag', 'supp' and 'on-line'. Then written in hand across the document are the words 'package 4'. There is no description of what 'package 4' is nor is there a breakdown of the cost. I don't have a copy of this paperwork myself to see if this was written before of after my signature. No T&Cs provided then or since.0

Do they have your new home address? The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0

Hi Tacpot12..thank you for your question. They don't have my new address and I still had access to the address until Mid-December and post is redirected.0

It is quite likely that adverts have been published over several months. If that is the case, then you could have a look at them and compare them to the ones that you were promised. Note they may have been published in obscure publications.0

Hi Mistra1001...thank you for your comment. Nothing has been published. The company are asking me to provide them with the digital content which I don't have, hence I think the product is unsuitable for me. As a sole trader I don't have lots of digital material or artwork that I can provide to them and I don't have a team to produce this content for me. I did explain to the lady that I don't have a company logo or any of that stuff and she assured me it would be ok and that they would help. They aren't actually producing the content for me. To date I have provided them with nothing because I am unable to provide what they are asking me for.0
