Ye I agree. I think probably because they had to use the email address given. Although they asked for the password .. but hopefully they can open everything else sent.
I am sure people are put off applying for a set aside as nothing usually fazes me and I have sorted loads of parking charges out for friends and family. And succeeded in 99% of cases with all the help on here thankyou. But I found this one difficult but I would not give in . We will see how it goes tomorrow though fingers crossed .3 -
Please stop this continued arguing of every point, it is become extremely tedious. I come here not to argue the finer points of the English Language, with someone who consistently misuses the apostrophe, but to help bring down Private Parking Companies. I am sure you do the same. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1
-
I'm not arguing every point - I'm just correcting you when youre steering an OP down a path that may merely antagonise the court, expecially when its an acutally moot point
I couldnt give two hoots what you think about my misuse of the apostrophe. I guess thats something you cat think outside the box on - no ability to change. Despite that being a defining characteristic of the English language and one of the reasons for it being, ironically, a lingua franca in many parts.1 -
I'm just correcting you when youre (sic) steering an OP down a path that may merely antagonise the court,
But It may not. In any case I have no problem with antagonising a court, so please do nor keep "correcting" me, it is becoming very tiresome. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
You're not the OP.
This isn't your claim
The OP deserves to know the actions and their possible consequences. While you have no skin in the game, you have a responsibility to the OP when you advise a course of action that might be detrimental to them, to warn them of this. Failing to do so is unfair on them.
I will keep on helping the OP, to the best of my ability. If that involves correcting your failings and omissions, I will do so, regardless of how tiresome you find it.2 -
If that involves correcting your failings and omissions,
Why is it that you are the only one who perceives these as failing and omissions . I would remind you that I have received over 20.000 thanks. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Yes, and?
Does that mean you are error free? No, of course not. You've admitted as such. You're also no stranger to courts, but of course this is not true of 99% of the people with claims on here. They need to be given careful, rounded advice.
Now, I'd suggest you allow the OP their thread back. Start a new thread if you want to continue this "helpful" dialogue.1 -

Hi Guys!
Well my daughter was told her ccj was being set aside! Woo!
thanks so much to everyone on here who helped by giving advice . We could not have done this without you! You are amazing on here. You kept me going and suddenly it clicked into place!Unfortunately she suffers with anxiety and it was hard for her to speak to the judge! So I was there listening but missed some of what he said being a bit hard of hearing. But he questioned her defence and questioned who was driving the vehicle. Also asked if she had copied some of it off the internet! Then he said it was set aside and thought she may struggle with £150 so would recommend the original £80 charge although it actually started off at £45.
Not happy paying anything to horizon ..
Heard nothing today but he had said she had 14 days and get onto it quickly. Does she have to let Horizon know As of course they were not there.
Advice for the next stage please guys. Thankyou3
