This note taker is described as "serverless" technology:
https://quicknote.io/
Does anyone understand where the notes are saved, e.g. on one's own computer or somewhere in the cloud?

I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".

I imagine (if it's installed as a Chrome extension for example) that the notes are stored on your computer in your Chrome user profile folder.1

As you're using a browser to access it then the outcome is the same ... they'll be in your user profile.1

I dont think that's correct. The notes are stored on the quicknote server, that identifies you by a cookie left on your machine so that it displays your notes when you visit the page.If you look at each note created, there is a URL - That URL leads to your note, so it cannot be stored locally.I think that until you 'publish' the note then it will stay local, but doing that you can only create one noteOne way to test ... Create a note, email the URL to yourself. Turn off your computer and click the URL in your email on another device. If the note shows then it is not stored locally2

However, this leaves me perplexed as to what is meant by "server-less technology" in this instance.
Im not sure where you have read that . But it doesnt make sense anyway ...If there is no server there is no website atall, the code has to live somewhere.1
