Painting hallway, stairs and landing quote seems CRAZY

Based in the SW. Had a quote from a guy who comes very well recommended.
Walls and woodwork £2250. That includes all materials except for the wall paint.
This feels like a crazy quote to me but I had no idea what to expect.

That does seem extortionate but I suppose it depends on the hight and access on your stairwell. Get another company to quote and see if there is a big difference.0

Thanks!comeandgo said:That does seem extortionate but I suppose it depends on the hight and access on your stairwell. Get another company to quote and see if there is a big difference. We have a fairly standard sized 1930s semi so fingers crossed this particular quote is an anomaly 😶0 -
Looks pretty crazy to me. I had living room, small hallway, kitchen, stairwell walls, bathroom and toilet painted (walls, ceiling, woodwork). I provided the paint for the walls. Total cost was £895 plus the cost of 5L wall paint.Beck2019 said:Based in the SW. Had a quote from a guy who comes very well recommended.Walls and woodwork £2250.
