Total Loss question.

My car, parked on a street, was hit by a reversing truck. No structural damage, only body/glass, but due to the car's age, it was deemed a total loss.
There was no claim on my insurance as the third party paid for repairs. But now I have two questions.
1). Upon renewal, must I admit to having an accident, even though I was at home at the time and not in the car, and there was no claim on my policy.
2). My insurance company confirmed my NCD was intact, but by what percentage is my premium likely to increase as a result of the write-off?

I hope somebody might have some knowldege or experience of this.
Thank you.

    1) You need to declare it as a non-fault accident/claim.
    2) Not much, if at all, in my experience. As always, shop around.
