We have a very steep staircase up to the attic bedroom.
There is room on the landing to make them more shallow
can this be done relatively cheaply?
arvice gratefully accepted
thank you

What is your idea of 'relatively cheaply'?You can buy stairs from www.stairbox.com if they need to be bespoke. Great value for money. You'll probably need to take advice from a carpenter to make sure all the components you need are there and measurements correct.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Remember if you change them they will have to be in accordance with Building Control Regulations. This could mean that they extend out more than you think.0

Is the attic bedroom building reg compliant or a on the quiet DIY job?
