Any Shpock experts out there can help me?

Hi
Has Shoock changed its search criteria?
Recently when i search for anything local it still brings up everything from all over the UK.
I have my location on my phone on, my search is restricted to 10 miles from my selected postcode but I cant seem to call up only local items?
Any ideas what i am doing wrong please
thanks as always

I’m finding shpock difficult to use generally at the moment, they seem to have revamped it and it isn’t working as well. I used to do very well on there but with the revamp my stuff is difficult to add to, I often can’t respond to messages and more annoyingly a number of items I look at I can’t read any description as it is mainly obscured with adverts.

I’m hoping it will calm down again soon.

  • I've had the same issue recently. Gave up looking for what I wanted, got random items from all over. Just done a search now and noticed that it's changed the area I put to be a couple of streets away and the second half of the postcode is now just random numbers.

Had an issue with my street/postcode for a listing too. I don't remember an issue a few weeks ago when I did numerous listings, but I went to list an item more recently and it shows the correct street, but wrong postcode. There are a few streets that all have the same postcode listed, none of which are correct although they are all fairly close by.

They clearly have an issue. Hopefully they'll sort it soon.

I’ve always had a problem with the postcode / road name. If I put in my postcode I get a completely different street, and if I put in my road I get an entirely different postcode. I’ve never found a way past that and just use the correct postcode and opt for one of the shop names it offers, as they are only about a 3 minute walk away .

Maybe it's an issues with certain areas? Where I used to live is correct for postcode/street. Just tried a couple of others and it seems to know exactly where the searched for postcode is, but is stating the wrong postcode after the correct street name in the drop down list. Odd!

Looks like they may have fixed it.
To search for items near you put in your postcode and save. Then select 'sort' from the top menu and choose nearest first. Worked for me

Nope, still not working for me. Postcode listed is wrong for the street name and it's showing things that are miles away (it's set to closest first). If anything, it's worse than when I searched the other day.
