3 years of being called by Lowell Financial for debt that isnt mine -

Afternoon - About 3 years ago I started receiving phone calls and texts asking me to contact Lowell Financial regarding a debt in a mans name that I dont know, have never known. After ignoring it for a while I phoned them and explained this wasnt me, they apologised and said they would remove my number from their records. A month later same thing again and so it continued.
Eventually I raised a Resolver query and they agreed to remove it, apologised and that was that.
One year later and here we go again - has anyone got any suggestions how I can get them to actually permanently remove this persons details ?
Thanks Becky

Escalate a complaint and then to the ICO if not resolved.1

Take them to court for damagesDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

As post 2, you should send a written complaint, they then have 8 weeks to investigate the problem, if you don`t raise the matter as a complaint, it won`t be dealt with correctly, as you have discovered.
If you are not happy with their final response, or more than 8 weeks have passed, you can escalate the matter both to the ICO, and the FOS.
You can also ask Lowell to pay you for the inconvenience caused, around £150 is the usual amount, because if the FOS become involved, Lowell must pay them a referral fee of £550, so cheaper to pay you first.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
