Anyone heard of www.wee.com

Hi I got invited to be an early investor in this company, https://www.wee.com/gb/en/home loyalty cards and a new crypto currency about to launch called Weemat available here apparently https://www.probit.com/en-us/ieo/wma-round1/1
already live in China, Russia and Germany so Im told by the vendors.
Its about investing in cashless stadiums which they say is underway and getting in early is advised, €1k or €2.1k "packs"
Just wondered is anyone else had heard of it.

Cheers

Insert jokes about pi$$ing your money away here.
  • I found that post too after digging around. you wonder how they get away with it?
They seem to be recruiting people at pretty random hotel venues. The crypto I found interesting and they seem to believe that at 1c pre launch, it should jump with a quick buck to be made. But Im not well up on crypto!

If you get 'invited' to  "invest at launch for only 1 cent and it will probably immediately become worth a lot more than that", you can take that with a pinch of salt and presume that any money you send them will be irretrievably lost - because if it 'it should jump with a quick buck to be made' was any kind of reality, they would literally be borrowing billions from reputable financial institutions to make those quick bucks for themselves, rather than inviting you, an unknown stranger, to take a slice...

The fact that you are not well up on crypto is one reason to avoid sending money for something that you don't fully comprehend, even if you find it 'interesting' !

And even if you were well up on crypto, it's not something that you should have a go at just because you got some spam about it, regardless of source.

    Probably quite a few suckers.
Which you are if you even considered longer than it took you to read to the end of the first sentence
  • thanks for the feedback... I hope more people do some searches before attending the 150 seat info sessions that seem to be springing up. I imagine initially they will be rewarding the enthusiastic until the money runs out!

Because nobody cares if people greedy enough to invest in get rich quick schemes claiming you can invest €1,290 and get paid €3,000 back every year lose their money. Not the police, not the papers, nobody.

Kinda. Mathematics guarantees that 99% of people in pyramid scams lose money. None of the people signing up for the seminars are going to be in the 1%. It's not about whether you are enthusiastic but whether you are already running the scam. If you don't know who the sucker is then it's you.
  • one thing I did find amusing was that they "reward" you by giving you €100 in extra shares, so you're already a winner lol
