Hi, wondering if anyone can help me? I've been on economy 7 tariffs for years with NPower. I've tried to find alternatives to my current Standard SC Electricity DD Economy 7 and Standard SC Electricity DD Super Tariffs for some time but so far no one can offer an alternative. None of the websites seem to recognise my tariffs. Does anyone know how I can go about seeking an alternative? I have one supply to my house which splits into normal and Economy 7 heating supplies and the meter has 4 rates accessed via a pushbutton for Days, nights and heating readings, with one tariff unused. Thanks in advance.

You appear very confused.
You started this thread with the title "Economy 7 Tariff Swap" and indeed coomence your post with "...I've been on economy 7 tariffs for years with NPower..."
But then you go on to talk about the nPower Super Tariff you say you are on.
May I suggest you perhaps start by contacting your supplier to establish exactly what type of metering you currently have.

Do then return if you need more assistance

Hi, I want to go on to Economy 7 but i am informed that as i have solar panels, the new smart meters are not compatible or are not waterproof and my meter is on the outside of my garage wall.
does anyone know if i can get on to economy 7?0 -
Not being waterproof is not a problem exclusive to smart meters. It's been a long standing problem which is probably why meter cupboards have been in use for decades.0

I now have a SMETS 2 (?) smart meter but Bulb say it will take months to convert to Economy 7, does anyone know of a supplier who could do it quicker?0

Bumping to assist the OP who has returned and started a new thread on same topic.
