Hi it went to court and I argued the case that what i had been paying for the last 12 months was ll i could afford they issued a CCG and the mount to be repaid at the same as I am currently paying.0

So really, Drydens have wasted their clients money in getting the CCJ in the first place. Just make sure you keep paying on time, or else the full debt could become enforceable. Whilst having a CCJ where there was not one before is not ideal it does offer you some protection:
1. The creditor cannot start hassling you for more money as the CCJ now governs how much is paid and when
2. If the creditor sells the debt on, from your perspective, nothing changes
3. The creditor cannot terminate the time to pay and demand the full amount.
4. The creditor cannot add on new charges and interest (unless the CCJ allows for this)
As long as you continue paying the correct amount not time, you are protected. If you can get a month or two ahead that is even better as it gives you some breathing space0 -
Drydensfairfax are an impossible company to deal with. Had the same issue in trying to get in touch with long waits on the phone and no call backs. Absolutely clueless agent who was only interested in bleeding every last penny. If you make an offer ensure you include as much expenditure as possible as they asked for every spare pound ihad.0

Hi, I had a lot of trouble with Drydens, they are
very rude. Please contact Stepchange as soon as they become available again. I ended up with a ccj because the debt company I was using couldn’t be bothered to help me they only wanted their monthly fee. Stepchange helped me and i have to say they were amazing. Good luck0
