are they looking at the house as land and bricks and mortar and room sizes etc or decor and things like that too?
Got my mortgage valuation on my rtb house tomorrow and im so nervous. For example i have a caravan in my driveway. Im thinking i need to move it tonight as it could devalue the house?
Sorry if i sound daft im just so anxious.

'If we have to take possession of this property and sell it in the open market, how much will it sell for in the condition it is in for on the day of valuation?'
Thats essentially all it comes down to.
Caravan in the driver - no as that wouldn't be there if they evicted you
Pub next door - yes as that might put off potential buyers
Non standard construction -yes as it will reduce the number of buyers and therefore make it harder for them to offload
Decor - possibly, but not likely as most people redecorate anyway
fixtures and fittings - to some degree as a new kitchen can add some value when comparing to a 50 year old kitchen

Thanks... its a good solid house with decent sized gardens and driveway. Kitchen isn't perfect but it works and looks nice and tidy! and ill be replacing that in a year or 2.
When it was valued in December by the HA surveyor he was super impressed with a the quarry tile floor and the 2 big Fireplaces but i talked him down and said id paid for those as well as all real wood doors and skirting and all decor etc. Now i want it up valued or at least the same! HA survey was £83k, Zoopla estimate is £91k so I'm just hoping it does get the £83 tomorrow!Mortgage started August 2020 £69,700
