Can't go 'Full Screen' with WMP!

Windows media player won't play videos in full screen and I have no idea why! 
It just reduces it back down to normal size!

you could try using a better player such as media player classic, vlc or even winamp.0

surely in that case you're not happy with it then? Why don't you try some of the other players out there that almost everyone will agree is better than wmp?0
