  • He wont even say that our offer has been accepted if i did not chase it. I want to view the house again, he’s not replying. Ive given him our solicitors details without him asking, i just assume because it is the right thing to do. So every step, im making it without him asking for it.

Are you sure it's not someone else's offer that's been accepted and he's keeping you hanging on?

Is the chain complete then? The people you are buying off, presumably they have found somewhere? And the people after this?
The vendors most probably haven't even sourced a solicitor yet, they could be looking still. The memorandum of sale needs to have both solicitors details. This is not a process that is rushed.
  • Well he said our offer has been accepted so I assume it’s our offer that says sold stc. And how would i know if the chain is complete if he is not replying.

If I was you I’d contact the sellers directly once you have their details from the sales memorandum. Might be easier and tell them how rubbish the agent is they are paying for/have paid for. I’m suspecting it is one of the upfront ones who has already been paid. Good luck but you need to be patient it will feel like ages but you’ll get there in the end.

You wait for a response? It's been a day !!!!!!. Wait til you find out you may have to wait 4 weeks for searches to come back! Or a mortgage offer to come through.
