B&Q Kitchens

Hi all, 
Seriously contemplating a b&q kitchen with their new ranges. Given they have a 25 year guarantee I'm thinking it's a safe purchase? However I'm nervous as I cant find any online reviews for the good home kitchens? Has anyone purchased one since the new range was released late last year? Good idea or not??

I've just inherited a house with a 1-2 year old B&Q kitchen and I wouldn't consider buying one from them. The kitchen itself is horribly plasticky and the doors& drawers do not line up, even when adjusted.

The new range of b&q kitchens don't have a good reputation.

Thanks everyone I've been so worried and just felt it wasnt the right thing. Guess I'll have to pay the howdens price and sacrifice my lovely bed I wanted lol

If you are contemplating Howdens, I'd suggest paying a visit to a couple of local independent kitchen supplies. I was looking at fitting out a "utility" a couple of years back and a local firm was quoting quite a bit less than Howdens or Magnet. Ended up spending the money on something else, so that project got shoved on the back burner.

I found the quality and fit of Wickes to be superior to B&Q
That said I would always get my appliances and sink, tap etc separately

25 year guarantees are an absolute nonsense. What kitchen could possibly still be perfect after 25 years? But of course, scratching, chipping, wear and tear won't be included!
