Hi all,
I go to Iceland in 4 days time, any suggestions on the quickest way to get a no fee/cheap travel credit/debit/prepaid card?

Walk in to a Metro Bank branch, open an account, your debit card will be prepared and issued on the spot, should take all no more than 40 mins.
Install the Starling Bank app on your smartphone, sign up for an account, the debit card will arrive in a day or two. Ditto for Monzo Bank. Open both to receive at least one card in time.
It's wise not to rely on only one card when traveling.Evolution, not revolution1 -
No everybody lives within convenient travel distance of a Metrobank branch though for the "walk in" option.eDicky said:Walk in to a Metro Bank branch, open an account, your debit card will be prepared and issued on the spot, should take all no more than 40 mins.
