With the application of this website you can see if it was an hard or soft search.
Anyway, for an home insurance application I can't believe you had an hard search :D , so don't worry

I have had to cancel home insurance policy as my house move on 1/4 has been postponed due to corona virus. Can the credit search be removed in these circumstances?
Was it just a check as in you live at x address and not a credit search ?
Did you choose to pay for it monthly or a years payment ?
