In the old forum, I had these set up so if I subscribed to a thread I'd get one email at the end of the day, if there'd been any new posts that day, summarising all the new posts from the day. Now, I seem to be getting a separate email for every new post, which is a bit much for busy threads. Is it possible to set it up as before, so I only get one email per day per subscribed thread?

it doesn't seem you can just have it for individual threads, instant or digest anymore (massive step back) just all bookmarked &/or all participated in (in settings this is the extent of the separations) or none which is no use- Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted

Lots of unwanted emails coming through, instead of the one daily notification email, plus when you go to see which threads you are subscribed to, nothing is showing so you have to hunt down each individual thread if you want to comment. Not sure I have the time or the energy to be bothered.

Me too. I am having loads of unwanted emails to a thread that I am not even subscribed to.
Any idea how to stop this please ?

Yes, as has been pointed out, it's all or nothing. This used to be settable on a per-subscribed-thread basis. Also there's no longer any option for digest emails, the only options are to get a new email for every new post, or nothing at all.

that's frustrating
I think it no longer defaults to automatically subscribing you to threads you posted in. There's a setting on the Notification Preferences page, though, to get notifications of comments in threads you've participated in. (But no way I can see of automatically bookmarking them.)

Quite happy to share it. I’d far sooner have someone here
tell me now that my figures don’t add up, rather than wait until I see the
pensions advisors years down the line & have them tell me.
